Service Description
This is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy for musculoskeletal issues, arthritis and joint/muscular pain. Warm Ayurveda oil is poured into a dough ring and placed on the spot of pain or discomfort. In certain cases cotton wool is used to keep the oil in place. The deep fomentation of the oil radiates through the muscles releasing tension and stiffness. Helpful in acute and chronic back pain , prolapsed disc, lumbar Spondylitis, sciatica, degenerative disorders of disc, osteoporosis, arthritis, leg pain, hip pain and spinal cord compression. Also effective for neck, knee, foot and hand pain, where cotton wool picchu, herbal poultices or herbal foot soak may be used. Best results with 3 - 14 sessions.
Cancellation Policy
Consultation Appointments can be changed up to 72 hours in advance at no charge. Changes or cancellations for consultations requested from 72hrs to 48hrs of your appointment will incur a 50% charge. Changes or cancellations for consultations between 48hrs and 24hrs or 'no shows' will be charged at the full rate. Massages can be changed up to 5 days in advance at no charge. Massage changes or cancellations within 5 to 3 days of appointment will incur a 50% charge. Massage changes, cancellations within 2 days, or no-shows will be charged at the full rate.
